Dieses psychedelische Morchel Motiv ist entstanden, nachdem wir auf unserem Waldgrundstück plötzlich mehrere Morcheln gefunden haben. Einfach direkt vor der Haustür. Ich fand das irgendwie komplett surreal, weil Morcheln für mich immer etwas Mystisches hatten und plötzlich wachsen da einfach ungefähr zehn Stück im eigenen Wald herum.

Natürlich haben wir sie direkt gesammelt und später eine richtig gute Soße daraus gemacht. Ehrlich gesagt war das wahrscheinlich mit die leckerste Belohnung, die man nach einem Spaziergang durchs Grundstück bekommen kann. 😀

Beim Malen musste ich die ganze Zeit daran denken, dass dieser Pilz eigentlich schon aussieht wie ein fertiges Techno Albumcover. Psychedelisch, organisch und leicht alienhaft. Ich wollte genau diese Energie ins Bild bringen.

Das Original wurde als Aquarell gemalt. Beim Druck war mir wichtig, dass die intensiven Farben, die organischen Strukturen und die leicht hypnotische Stimmung erhalten bleiben.
